Earning money from blogging is not that hard if you have a popular blog. A popular blog means a blog with a constant stream of visitors, amounting up to hundreds of thousands of viewers per month. With that many people, the potential to translate it into monetary figure should be higher and simpler. It could be just a matter of how to do it the right way.

So, how to earn money from blogging?

Big audience means big chances of monetary gain from advertising revenue. You could join forces with big advertising companies such as Google with its ever popular Ad Sense programme. With Google Ad Sense, you simply put up advertisements by Google on your blog and get paid for every click you get on those advertisements.

Other than Google, you might want to join other giants such as Amazon.com, CommisionJunction.com, Chitika.com and many more.

Advertising is a universal weapon for any business, be it a big or small business. You could also offer the space on your blog with certain fees for private advertisement sales. This is also a smart way to make money from blogging.

If you already have your very own business or product to offer, why not capitalize on those visitors to your blog by giving them every detail of your business and complete information about the products you offer?

Sales:

No matter what you do, sales are still the way money is made. Without sales, no business could ever move and no tax could be possibly collected. In short sales are the life blood of any business. Without sales business will die.

Now, how do you sell things on your blog?

If you don't have your own product, you could become an affiliate for another company. What is an affiliate?

An affiliate is basically a reseller who sells for another company and gets commission on every sale he successfully makes. Affiliate marketing is a popular programme because of its nature of a “win win” situation for both parties. All you need to do is find a customer and make sales. That's it. An e-book is another profitable business on the Internet because of its nature of selling information in a more convenient and cheaper way. If you are good at writing, you can create your own e-book and sell it on your blog. E-book is created with a PDF format. You can buy software to compile it or find a reputable company to publish it for you.

Blogging is a great way to find or even meet your prospective customer. If your blog is has a certain niche and followers, it will be easier to make profit from it. For example, if your blog talks about fishing, it will be easier to sell fishing rods to your readers.

Many people make a good income by blogging. If you want to follow in their footsteps, you should open your heart to learn and work hard. Success does not come easy. But if you are persistent and full of determination, nothing is impossible.
