Computer is an essential tool in one's life. Nowadays, it helps us do things easier and faster. Let us pull up some common tasks we can do faster with a computer, thus helping us to save time. In this article we have four common tasks that with the help of a computer, becomes easier and can be done a more timely manner. This is in no particular order:

1. Online Shopping - Anyone can admit, online shopping is a lot faster than you going to the supermarket, choosing the stuff you need to buy, going around the mall, paying for it at the cashier and going back home. Not to mention the time you spend while waiting for your turn to get the cashier's attention, the line's usually long.

With online shopping, you can just open your browser, go to your favorite online shop, choose your stuff with simple clicks. Once done, you can pay for it with your credit card or online banks and just wait for it to be delivered. While waiting for it, you can do some other stuff. It's like you're doing two things at the same time. It saves time and hassle.

Although, online shopping is not really always reliable, most people are starting to prefer online shopping for its convenience and the amount of time people can save.

2. Creating Documents and Reports - Nowadays, you don't see an office without a computer. When you say office, computer's just attached to it. That's because computers make office tasks so much easier and faster and those tasks include creating documents and reports. Old school taught us how to use the typewriter which is not just hard to press but wastes a lot of paper. One mistake with a type writer, you'll have to rewrite the whole thing to make it look clean and formal.

With the use of computer, there are different programs released that were made specifically for office use. Such are Microsoft Office, OpenOffice and so on. These tools let you create your documents and reports and let you save it for future use. You can just hook up a printer so you can print as many copies you need. You can just make corrections anymore on the computer without rewriting the entire document and it looks a lot better than that made from a typewriter.

3. Arranging Schedules - This is very useful for people with busy schedules and are members of many organizations. Arranging schedules on a computer will keep you updated of your meetings and appointments without carrying a pen and a notebook all the time. With your computer with you, not only that you get an alarm clock,
