How to accept aging, sickness and the possibility of death
Aging, sickness and the horrifying possibility of dying will always be in your life so learning to control any fear or doubt from these possibilities is essential to living a full and happy life. Frame of mind is key to everything in your life and how you live it, fearing sickness, the possibility of death and getting older is all a frame of mind and how you look at life. Look at how a child views life and everything around them, not a care in the world or any fear or doubts, view life like a child and avoid imagining the worst.
Ask yourself do you want to die at he age of 90 thinking “I have lived a long life” or would you be happy dieing tomorrow, younger with the positive though that you lived a full life? I know which I would prefer and accepting everything that life throws at you will enable to you to be positive enough to lead a great life. One of the most famous quotes of all time is “dream like you'll live forever, live like you'll die today” when I heard this quote it changed my life and made me realise that life is too short to even waste your time thinking about the bad and you should just do whatever you want.
Sickness is inevitable through your lifetime and realising that sickness sometimes helps us will help you to view less in life as negative and more as positive. Sickness helps us build an immune system against infections and helps us grow and become stronger internally. Sickness is overall the least to worry about out of aging, sickness and death, aging and dieing is inevitable and sickness is most times only temporary.
Positive thinking is the most powerful weapon in the world and can help you do anything. Many spiritualists and self help leaders across the world believe and teach that with a positive mind you can beat anything. Bad things happen in life and the only way to overcome them is with positive thinking and action to follow. Keep a positive mind with self control and live your life to the full and enjoy yourself, life is short and fearing sickness, death or being old is really quite trivial on the happiness you can experience in your life on this planet.
