Bike or Die 2 is a bmx game developed by Chillingo Ltd. As the name suggests you either bike or you die. In each level you compete against a shadow of the time you have to beat. If you finish the level but don’t finish it fast enough you will have to try again. If you fail the level by falling down the wrong way, well, u die. You do just get to try the level again though. When you complete a level you get the chance to go to the next level or to race against the shadow of the new best time set by yourself. All levels that have been unlocked are available for you to race at anytime so trying to beat your own score will not ruin your previous accomplishments.  

There are a total of five buttons that controls the bike. On the left side of the screen is a button for tilting the bike backwards, one for tilting the bike forward and one for reversing the direction of the bike. Buttons for acceleration and braking are located on the right side of the screen. Tilting the bike backwards and forwards to land correctly can be hard at times because the tilting happens in a choppy motion rather than a fluid motion but you do get used to this after playing a couple of times.

The graphics in the game are choppy for the most part and not very detailed. The lack of better graphics does take some of the fun out of the game but it is still very playable. Each level is very different in design and sometimes it is hard to tell initially what everything is used for especially in the more complex levels.

Despite not having great graphics and having some imprecise controls at times Bike or Die 2 manages to be a very addicting game. Every level is unique and it does take some skill to complete all of them. You learn to work the controls and you do not really notice the graphics once you start playing.

All in all Bike or Die 2 is a very fun little game that will keep you entertained for hours. A lite version is available if you want to check out the game before buying it.
