Three ways to make your PC run faster:
1)When searching the web, pay attention to how many pages are tiled on the screen. The more you have behind the front page, the slower your computer will run. Have them on too long and you may get bumped off the Internet. Close the pages when you're through with them. Remember to save them to the favorites or email them to yourself. The same holds true for your desktop. The more your PC has running in the background, the slower it runs.
2)Clean up your Internet cache. If you have Internet Explorer, do this: minimize the default web page for your server. Right click the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop, then left click on Tools. Left click on Internet Options, then click delete files and/or cookies too. Click OK.
3)After saving your internet gold to disk, defragment your computer before shutting it down. Like a well-rested beast of burden, it will perform better after it wakes up. When you look at the defrag screen, check how much red is showing. This red bar represents the files that were scattered all over your system. Every time you print or save, these files get scattered. Keeping it clean will make it easier to log on and prevent errors from building up in your system.
