You can never say or hear the words "I love you" too many times. These are the last words before we go to sleep and the first words in the morning. They are the words we hear when we get in our cars and head of to work, and our welcome home after a long day apart. They are the words I hope to hear when I am taking my last breath on this earth, and these are the words I want to use my last breath to say.
Never be afraid to say these words and hope that you can hear them as often as you are willing to say them. You say the only unconditional love comes from your children, your family, but that is a totally diffrant kind of love, and it should never be put in the same category as a love between a husband and wife or the partner you chose for life.
Yes, you do have unconditional love from your mate and you give that to them too. If there is any doubt that you would not feel love for your spouse if he/she did something you did not like, then are you really in love? I know my husband snores like crazy, I hate it. I never get a full nights sleep but does it change my love for him ? NO...That may be small to you, but its big for me. But I love him no matter what he does and I know that he loves me and respects me and he would never do anything to jeopardize our life together, our love for one another.
I LOVE YOU is a feeling not from your heart, not from your mind, it comes from deep within your soul,it consumes you. You breath it, you smell it, you feel it, like the heat from the sun on your face. There is nothing in the world that can take the place of hearing the words "I love you" from the person you are saying those words to. I fall in love with my husband a hundred times a day, sometimes it just a look, his smell, the way he walks away. I swear he takes my breath away. So after all this all I have to say to you is never be afraid to let someone love you, and never regret saying "I love you."
