You can retire when you are ready, and there are many ways to look at retirement today. Instead of looking at retirement decisions as being fully retired, you can be semi-retired as well, working a part-time job, and still others working actively in theirs careers, A recent study by Consumer Reports national research center of 17,877 people, found one third of people retired between the ages of 55 and 59, another 38% retired between 60 and 64. The smallest group of 18% waited until 65 or later. The median age at which the group retired was 60. Here are some relevant skills/tips to help you decide what is the best time for you to retire.

By doing so, you would now be able to start work on those hobbies you have neglected over the years because you were pressed for time in other areas. Consider the lifelong wait for the benefits of travel and finally finding time to spend with your spouse and partner, and getting to know those fast growing grandchildren, before it will be too late. What is the take away? Appoint yourself the final decision maker on when and how you will retire.
Retire when you are ready and willing to retire.
