A cat will slink into your life,
And while you aren’t looking
Will steal your heart with their
Silly antics, their loud purrs, their complicated attitudes.
They will fill your hours with love,
Your days with friendship,
Your years with laughter.
For as much love as we give them
The love we get back is immeasurable.
They feel our love and
They miss us when we are gone.
But we miss them more when they go.
And we remember the love.
We remember the friendship.
But most of all we remember the laughter.
And we smile, though our hearts ache,
For God had loaned one of his most
Precious beings to us for awhile…
And we will see them again.

Falling down, scattered along
