There are a few legitimate paid to post social sites out there. But with so many people being scammed every day, it's hard to know which sites to trust.
Mylot.com is a genuine site that does pay its users for posting on the site. It can do this because it gets revenue from the advertisements that are placed all around the site.
Navigating
It's a fairly simple layout; you start a discussion based on the interests you have selected. The more interests that you select, the more you can discuss and so the more money you could make. There is a "start new discussion" tab to click, so it's fairly easy to navigate. The interest section is a bit tedious, you have to look through the whole selection, and so if you did select a lot of interests, you will have to wade through them all to find the one you are looking for.
Some of your selected interests do appear at the top of the screen, so you can either choose from them or look for others.
Friends
You can add friends on Mylot.com and the more friends you add, the more money you could make. The way it works is; you respond to their discussions, they respond to yours (not all users extend the same courtesy, but most of them do). You can be notified via email when your friends start discussions, simply by clicking the "notify is off" tab. Once your friendship request has been accepted, you can send private messages to your friends.
Starting discussions.
The more people that respond to your discussions, the more money you will make. Try to make them general and interesting.
Rules.
Mylot.com are quite strict about their rules, they have a section where you can read through the various rules. If any of these are broken, you could be punished, repeat offenders have their earnings deducted (without warning) or they are banned altogether.
Money.
There is some kind of complex algorithm that Mylot.com won't divulge. You don't earn a huge amount, but the more you post, the more you make. You can make anything; from 2 cents to a dollar fifty. The money you have earned is displayed at the top of the screen (earnings are updated once a day) The amount is in U.S dollars and cents, so if you live in a different country, you will need to figure out what that is in your currency. Don't worry about converting it when it comes to payday, paypal has an automatic currency converter. Payday is the 15th of every month, as long as you have earned enough to qualify for payout. You must have enough to qualify by the last day of the previous month or you will have to wait until next time.
When you first reach payment, you are automatically set to receive payment on payday when you reach the amount of $10, you can change this for the next payment to $25, $50, or $100. When you have earned that amount, you get that exactly, if you have earned any more than that, it is rolled over for next month. For example; if you earned $27.95, you get paid $25, and you will have $2.95 in your balance.
It is most definitely not a get rich quick scheme, but it is a way to earn some extra money and have a good time too. You might meet some nice people on there, have fun!
