But do get the nod from your doctor prior to increasing your physical activity. These tips will add a little extra activity into your day to tighten muscles, burn calories and increase your fitness. Please read on.
Make time:
Don’t put in off any longer. Instead of heading to the office canteen brown bag it and head outside for a quick workout. Plan your day well and you will find the extra half hour to exercise. If this is not possible set your alarm for 6.30 am instead of seven, do some squats beside the bed, a couple of sit ups, jog on the spot. Walk around the block and let your dog get some exercise as well. Or make this a family affair and get everyone involved in a healthier lifestyle.
Get others involved:
Exercise is something one must commit to for top results. By getting others involved, one gets all the encouragement they need to make this a more enjoyable venture. Not only will you get fitter but you will be bonding more with friends, family or work peers. Ask around at the office if anyone wishes to walk or jog with you during the lunch period. This may be just what the new girl or guy may need to make them feel a part of the workplace.
Make it fun:
Exercise can be quite mundane unless you make it fun. Grab a basketball and shoots some gaols at the local park, get others involved and your fun will increase. The more exciting you make it the more likely you will be to stick to it. Organize a hiking team, swimming, soccer, football. Grab some friends and join a dance club, sign up for water polo
