Avon – the company for women – has been around for a very long time.  Recently, Avon has changed it’s image to not only serve the mature woman, but now has a line specifically for Generation X & Y, the Millenials, and lines of products for men and children too.

New products that have come into their own for 2010 include the Minerals line of makeup.  These products ranges from concealers, to foundations, to blushes, eye shadows and lipsticks.  When you use the Minerals line up you will notice from the beginning that they are completely different.  They are a powder base rather than liquid and they give great coverage for all skin types.  They are easy to apply and can be applied evenly to give great coverage, and come in a wide range of colors for the best fit.

 Another product that is garnering great attention is that of “In a Wink” eye shadow.  This is for the newbie at putting on eye shadow.  What these consist of are sheets of eye shadow already contoured and shaded for one application use. The applicator is actually an eye looking back at you.  You place the eye over your eye lid and using your finger, you rub it like a stencil onto your eye lid.  It’s great for someone who is new to make up and doesn’t quite have the eye shadow contouring figured out and it makes it great for those who have difficulty seeing to put on their makeup.  Now, you can look great with the touch of a finger!

New scents are on tap for 2010 too.  From Hollywood stars such as Reese Witherspoon, Patrick Dempsey and Zoe Saldana, you can find a fragrance that fits you and your lifestyle.  Included too are the jewelry lines of Avon.  Avon will soon acquire a new company to add to it’s jewelry line up and so watch for more and exciting pieces from Avon.

I am a current Avon Representative and so have seen first hand how this company has responded to the needs of women of all ages.  From the traditional Avon line up to the new Mark line up for college age women and teenagers, to the lines of products for the men in your lives, Avon has kept it’s hand on the pulse of the world to bring to the forefront products that will appeal to a wide range of people.   If you haven’t seen Avon recently, I encourage you to take another look.
