Why God does not intervene in the world more often

God does not intervene in the world more often all that is happening is his plan to begin with. How many times in your life have you failed at something and someone tells you that it is god who is testing you. How many times have people said that something happened because it is god's plan. If god had a plan then why would he even bother to test you since he already know that you are going to fail or pass the test at the end of the day? isn't it rather ironic?

Yes one can say that God intervenes by sending his guardian angels in the form of humans like nurses, doctors, medics, volunteers and the people who have risked their lives in any way or form. That is just being compassionate and a lot comes from paternal and maternal instincts to save and help. It is more of mother nature sending guardian angels. We do what we can to help others not knowing the risks involved. If there were a god, why are the most innocent of beings being tortured and mistreated? No I am not talking about babies and children but animals. No human is innocent and we have all sinned. Innocence lies only in animals who sin for survival. Stop and think. Question things that happen and don't just blame every bad thing to the devil.

I quote someone who said this once and I very much agree with it. "Good people do good things, Bad people do bad things. It is religion that causes good people to do bad things." Read the news and you can see that happening. All people need is to have morals. Do to other what you want others to do to you.

My answer to this question is that we should not depend on god. Why just pray? if you can spend 2 hours every Sunday praying, you can use that same amount of time to come up with a plan to help whatever cause that you are worried about. Spend that time to do research and brainstorm and come up with a solution instead of hoping for a miracle. I do not mean stop praying and neither am I against it. To each his own. Why ask such a question like the above mentioned when you should be asking other questions so that you can get answers to more important questions that would solve the problems in the world.
