What I used to get spankings for as a child earned me a six figure income as an adult.

I love fixing things. I believe that this characteristic was developed early in life due to the fact that I used to love to take things apart. I realized in a very short order that to stay on the neutral side of my dad's "razor strop" that I better be able to put back together the things that I took apart.

We all, for one reason or another, have those activities that we just love to do. For some it may be baking for others it could be painting or cleaning (it happens). Some people love to work in their gardens or yards. Whatever it is that you like to do, can become a very likely "seed" to starting your own business.

That thing that you like to do is called "service". When you begin a service company you require little if any money and if you have enough business savvy to run a lemonade stand then you have everything that you need. There are few risks to take and because you do not owe anyone any money. No bank or investor can shut you down because money is coming in fast enough. You can take as long as you like to develop your business or even shut it down if it turns out to be something that you decide that you don't like.

Many of my friends are people who I have met along the way who did pretty much the same thing that I did which was start a one man service company, on the cheap, and turn it into a thriving business operation. There's not one reason I can think of that would prohibit you from doing the same thing.
