Back to that sight, back to those walls again
of a distant land and inevitable charm
Back to that sunshine, back to that rain
of a distant joy and countenance warm
Back to those feelings that shaped my desire
for a distant beauty and a valued norm
Back to those presentiments, back to that fear
of a distant love and self inflicted harm
Back to those questions, back to those answers
of a distant curiosity and haunted storm
back to those beating of my heart again, i cry!
back to that fluttering of my joy again, i cry!

Poetry: Broken dreams
Moving on should be so simple
But letting go is not as easy as it seems
It is harder than you would think
To say goodbye
I saw her falling
From such an unfathomable height
Gravity showed her no mercy
As her body plummeted to it's demise
Yet
When we met, I had so many dreams
If I printed them on paper, they would take up reams
But as you started to control me
Too Much
If someone has the answers?
I wish they would clue me in.
For life is a game,
I can’t seem to win.
Once I
broken dream
it was a dream
that seems
full of light
