She shouts you need to do the dishes
She whispers I need you to talk to me
He screams he can't find his shoes
He signals I need your attention
Day in day out it's always like a game
He's in one room and she'll never be in the same
The scream and whisper only the wall could hear
And sliently they sleep at night, their eyes full of tears
Don't want to shout your whisper
Do want to scream the shame
She said she say it coming
He said that it was to much
They knew that if they tried harder
All it would take would be a touch.

I shout at the mountain, “Get out of my way!
You’ve no right to stand in my path here today.
He shouts at me, where once he used to whisper,
Expressing what he needs not what he gives,
His words have turned to bitter,
by Ted Onulak
The children are upstairs hiding
From another terrible scene
So, quietly, they whisper
Beneath the shouts and screams
In
He’s awaken by a whisper in his ear,
The demons return; his deepest and darkest fear.
He shouts, “I don’t
Listen to the silence.
Listen to the air.
It's beautiful without the sound
of you, shouting you don't care.
Appreciate the silence.
