The A-Team 2010 movie is fun for the entire family starring Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper. If you enjoyed the 1980's original TV series? The whole family will thoroughly enjoy viewing this film which seems to stay focused on "never actually showing anyone getting shot and killed?"
The same as the original 80's loving television episodes. The late and great actor George Peppard would be proud of Liam Neeson (age 58) playing the role of "Colonel John Hannibal Smith" actually showing his beautiful gray hair as an extremely smart and highly intelligent military leader for his former Alpha-team!
You see expensive vehicles being blown up, buildings being blown up, but fortunately there are no bloody bodies laying around in this film. Which the original TV producer/writer Frank Lupo and writer Stephen J. Cannell was also the consultant/producer during this 2009 filming and apparently tried to use the same effect.
Or should I say visual effects for it's adventurous theater viewers looking for a night out of fun loving family entertainment with special guest appearances made by Hulk Hogan, Pat Sajak, Rick James and Boy George.
Yahoo.com users gave this film a rating of A- and the usual critics gave it a low rating of C-. I personally give this film a rating of B+, simply because it does seemingly copy the original 1980's TV version and it's loving characters. Especially "Face or Faceman" originally played by the beautiful "face and body" of great Hollywood actor Dirk Benedict (still alive).
2010 film portrayed by gorgeous 30 year old actor Bradley Cooper, who has the charm and body to make any female happy at anytime of the day and also clever enough to steal million dollar equipment using his illegal printed "paperwork."
B.A. Baracus (Bad Attitude) is now 2010 film portrayed by modern day actor Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, (originally played by historical TV/Movie figure Mr.T). Who ironically still has a fear of flying in this film! Although character B.A.'s demeanor (attitude) has somewhat changed in this film for some strange reason?
The modern day B.A. seems to never complain about anything? Even whenever it came to H.M. a.k.a. "Howling Mad Dog Murdock!"
Who always got on B.A.'s nerves during the original TV 1980's series. Modern 2010 film portrayed by actor Sharlto Copely (Murdock) who is not too bad playing this "weird part!" for any Hollywood actor! Also has some charm to add to this film! Although? There will always be one and only A-Team mad Murdock as originally portrayed by Dwight Schultz! (Jim Carey would have been perfect for this modern day role).
This 2010 released film simply called the A-Team (still in theaters at the time of this article), still shows the fun and excitement of the original 1980's episodes, with better computer graphics, explosions, better filming and most all? The continuous family rated G entertainment which we all enjoyed at the time and history. Hopefully, there will a sequel to this truly entertainment film, with better Hollywood stars!
If you are still interested in watching the original 1980's episodes? These lovable episodes are programmed and viewed each morning on the NEW Centric 330 TV channel at 7:00 a.m. Monday-Friday shown on Direct TV. You may have to check for viewing if you have cable television? But it may be well worth your time, especially if you loved this comical and entertainment television show back in the 1980's.
