The spring/summer season boasts a range of gorgeous and invigorating color trends.  Whether you are investing in a new wardrobe, accessories or  updating your home, the color trends this season range from relaxing and organic to bright and uplifting.

Tropical colors such as aquamarine, coral red, tangerine orange, lemon yellow, bright blue and lime green are all the rage.  Jewelery in these tropical tones simply stand out.  Look for bright and colorful baubles in energizing tropical shades.  Gorgeous bubble rings, embellished cuff bracelets and layered beaded necklaces are a great way to add color and texture and sultry summer style.  For the home, invest in home decor accents such as vases, decorative boxes, dinnerware or flowering plants.

Metallic gold and silver never go out of style.  Whether you want to invest in jewelry, art, shoes, handbags, chandeliers or paintings metallic shades will stand out and stand the test of time.  Jewelry such as delicate necklaces, gemstone encrusted gold or silver earrings, two tone skeleton watches and excessively large baubled rings metallic tones and authentic gold and sliver are your best best.  For less expensive investments consider metallic inspired sandals, summer dresses, silk scarves, nail polish, picture frames and flower pots.

Organic shades are also very popular this spring/summer season. Think white, organza, taupe, beige and pale yellow - these area all calming shades that relax the soul and work well with any other color palette.  Organic hues in a home create a relaxing retreat from the hectic business of day to day living and create a sense of calm when you walk through the door.  To add color you can simply incorporate subtle colors in the way of bedding, pillows and room accents. 

When investing in a new spring/summer wardrobe make it a point to pick out two or three items in organic shades as these pieces can easily be incorporated into your other seasonal outfits and work well with all colors. 

This spring/summer season tropical colors, metallic shades and organic hues rule the runway.  Spring is a time of renewal and exploring fashion trends is an invigorating and fun way to welcome the new season. When investing in wardrobe items or household pieces make it a priority to pick out items that you can mix and match with other items you already own so that you can quickly and easily spice up any room or outfit adding variety and keeping things consistently fresh!
