Understanding knitting acronyms, abbreviations and other terminology

Somewhere between those collecting of sexes that are more dense male one, female two, CHESS and KNITTING circles, rests perhaps BRIDGE, card game open to both in more equal proportions...like a dance floor.

There are many CHESS yarns of proper acronyms, abbreviations and other terminology, including: "WCF" for World Chess Federation, "k-me" for "promotion to knight of a pawn advanced to eight rank" and "knighting out", that blasphemy which is to suggest that female of equal rank isn't to be found and/or can't be trained to be better and World Class given lesser tutors.

Such BRIDGE yarns include: "ACBL" for American Contract Bridge League, "duck-it" for play meek or possum casually (with low card to let opponent's win and be cornered with their booty, hands full) and finally "correct the count" to prepare an opponent for an end, closing off opponent's exits, perhaps delaying with tea and cookies the trick.

There are many moves on knitting, acronyms, abbreviations and other terminology when perceived density of female is too low. There are other moves on chess.
Goldilocks had beds too soft and too hard. Bridge is just right. It's just right.
Remove to bridge at least temporarily. Don't forget the fees for venue's change.
It can be simply transportation possibilities and budget's respect.
