Choosing the right shampoo for your hair is something of importance. Not only should it have the ability to clean your hair and leave it smelling fresh, but you also want it to care for both your hair and scalp. Maintaining your hairs natural moisture and flexibility is important for your hair to remain looking and feeling healthy.
Your hair has certain needs, before choosing a shampoo, you need to know what type of hair you have. Not everyone has the same problems but they do tend to fall into one of four main categories. Looking at the characteristics of each you should be able to recognise your hair type within one of them.

— Shiny but not greasy
— Easy to manage
— Takes a day to relax from washing but then it's fine
— Normal scalp

Organic or natural shampoo cleanses without harming your hair. Shampoo containing Chamomile extract or Lavender oil are advised. If your hair is straight then protein-rich is best, though if it is curly it would most benefit from added moisturising agents.

This should be strong enough to cleanse and clean your hair but not so strong you can't use it everyday. This would strip your scalp of too many oils causing the sebaceous gland to produce more. For this reason also, you shouldn't over massage your scalp. Shampoos with a mint extract are most beneficial.
