So many days I have searched
for the meaning of my feelings
hidden down deep inside.
I try to pull them to the front,
but to no avail, only despair.
And thru the years and thru my travels,
I knew there was more to life,
but I did not know and could only wonder.
There was no peacefulness, my heart asunder.
On my journey, I fell to my knees
in hopes of someone hearing my needs.
There were no words spoken from above,
only peace ran thru my blood.
As I stood up and looked around,
my purpose in life had been discovered.
To walk in the path that leads to heaven,
my pursuit was over, my faith had been found.
