Consumed by hate, deceit, and lies
The evil within only grows in size
The darkness swells as light fades away
And steals one more soul on this dark gloomy day
The suffering it causes destroys more than a few
The next one it seizes might possibly be you
It shows no remorse, no regret, no sorrow
It only thrives to breed more evil tomorrow
Though evil is strong, it’s not without rival
Good will struggle for its own survival
The good may start small in the smallest of spaces
But can spread quite far in the farthest of places
One miniature seed is all that it takes
To make the good flourish and take what evil makes
As powerful as a lion that fights like it should
Is the fighter of light and the doer of good
The herald of goodness is a persuasive foe
To the evil within that stirs down below
Embrace what is good and release all the hate
To vanquish the evil before it’s too late.

Poetry: Good and evil
Good and evil have existed since the dawn of man.
From the time of Adam and of Eve, when it began.
Each side has
I hate me. The conflict within is so simple,
yet lasting in ideal this battle is eternal.
The sick joy I find in degrading
With a mind full of clutter between wrong and right,
I find the battle within going on day and night.
The me that wants
by Carol Gioia
Good and evil
struggle with the blind,
each fighting to the finish,
to overpower mankind.
Ignorance allows
evil to grow,
Deep within his evil lair
He ever plots our doom
Caring not what's right or fair
He schemes within his tomb
Upon his throne
