I asked ‘exactly how this grace thing works’ from the days in which my hands were half their size,
Then flinched violently as they suggested multitudes of mindless sacrifice.
“Weep for yourself you callow girl, for you’ll never live to be that in your heart, chastise yourself for believing in such fallacious dreams from the start.”
I continue to refuse to give in to such a world when I’ve seen it all before…
The only grace I’ve ever had was over running fast and falling through the door.
In my twist and turn I fell face first into a mind derived from dark,
There stood a man amongst the wreck whom fought with every crevice of his heart.
Amazed I stood stagnantly against the virtues which along the way I’d missed.
Drifted from reality and ended up twisting my own wrist.
Even those whom seem the strongest and the bravest can bare victims of their own dread, even men who seem flawless are capable of causing problems in their own heads.
The lesson I have learned is such that one must know of night in order to define the day, that one must stand and live a life in order to detect a life decayed.
There is no sense to stumble savagely throughout the remainder of my years
for I know now that love in any sense is not self sacrifice but a dismissal of all fear.
It’s the dismissal of all fears.
