The ocean, the sea,
So vast large and blue.
It's the only hurdle,
Between Me and You.
So full of salt,
Just a stretch of brine.
It's all that stops you
From forever being mine.
The current, it stops us
At ever turning.
To keep us apart,
To fill us with yearning.
I'd swim the distance,
And walk it twice.
For only when your in my grasp
Will my need suffice
So take a run,
And catch a flight,
For it's in my arms,
You'll sleep tonight
