I remember what it’s like
To be young
I remember how easy it was
To love someone
As I get older I forget these things
Forget what it’s like to be young
But we all grow old
And we all break down
And to never be young again
I never thought I would
Be that man
Who looks at the young
And thinking “What fools!”
To be kissing and hugging
And holding hands
Just to break up
At the end of school
But we all grow old
And we all break down
And to never be young again
The young I admire
Their youth I desire
To experience it all again
Give it to me
The youth I was free
And not an old man again

When I was young, and all of life lay before us
Loved the way you
