People choose to write for Helium for a variety of reasons. For some, it may be all about the money. For others, it may just be a desire to pass on knowledge and indulge their love of writing. And then there are those who aspire to forge a career from writing and who recognize the value of Helium as a testing ground for their writing and as a means of establishing valuable connections with other writers and with publishers. The mix of benefits that you derive from Helium will depend upon your personal circumstances but let’s take a look at some of the main benefits that Helium can deliver.

1) Honing your writing skills.

Helium provides an opportunity for you to write for a big audience and get free feedback on how your writing is rated. This can be particularly useful for those who have aspirations to make a career from writing. The ranking system may not always be perfect but it does provide a mechanism against which you can judge how well your writing is appreciated.
