Good-bye old friend
You will be missed
So many smiles you’ve found
So many lips been kissed
Tears have been shed
And games have been played
I wish I could have seen away
For you to be saved
Outside you go
I’m setting you free
I need to make room
For my brand new TV!

Wedding bells are ringing,
The Bride is almost ready,
First she needs something old,
She searched high and low,
Then she
A fresh new day, a bright new dawn
I awake from sleep, I stretch, I yawn
The sun streams in, I look to my right

Weather beaten, faded and torn;

Once indigo jeans
Tattered and torn,
Resting on young slender hips:

The house still stands, just barely, I think,
and we still drive by it some days.
