Leaders aren't born. They develop traits that make them leaders in their families, at work and in the community. Those who develop the unique traits that make them leaders rise in the business arena through hard work, imagination and determination.
The power developed by a leader is not some magic quality he is born with. It is not something that is unreachable by the ordinary man. Anyone who has the willingness to learn and sacrifice time and effort can learn the same qualities that propel him forward, far above ordinary men.
You might think that to be a leader you simply have to be stronger and more assertive than anyone else. While this method may lead to some success, it never lasts. The leader who resorts to bribery and fear ultimately ends up a permanent failure.

The leader is a team player and expects others to work as a team too.

All men and women crave recognition and praise. A real leader knows this and makes every effort to praise every and all improvements. Leaders seldom resort to criticism. They offer friendly advice mixed with real concern and make correcting
