This is poem is dedicated to my sister Pamela Jane Guimont. Who passed away on March 22. 2010.
Dear Pammy,
I went to the park today
and I thought of you
as I watched two sisters play.
Blond hair eyes of blue..
One looked like Laura
the other of you..
I then I heard the voice of a little girl's voice plea
Wawa, Pammy, come play with me.
It was Rainy sitting under a tree
beside our mom who held me.
Then a man did appear.
Of a spirit that we all had loved so dear.
It was Daddy Jim you see,
telling Pammy it was time to leave,
She smiled and ran to him
Leaving Laura Lorraine and mom and I behind.
and called out to us as we began to cry,
That we all would be together again.
That her spirit still was alive.
And we could still feel it if we tried
And then I saw another,
It was my father's brother.
They'd both toke my sister's hand
and then their images began to fade.
But I did see my sister smile and wave.
Without a tear on her face.
and a heart filled with peace and grace.

Freshly turned, crumbling sod,
now marks this solemn spot.
Sodden soil, an open wound,
that only time, can soothe.

Whispering shadows
lament my demise
Come to life
as the moon
does rise
Viewing my body
in the still, night
It's time
The old man with peppered hair stirs,
His sleep interrupted.
His wrinkled brow beads with cold sweat,
And knotted
