Job outsourcing: Problem or solution

Job outsourcing is more of a problem than solution. But then, if you should talk to those CEO's who are indulging in same, they would express that it's a solution. The business of outsourcing didn't just occur overnight. There has been a gradual flow of jobs disappearing to other lands. The thing is this has been happening for years. However, because the global economy is in a drastic state decline, the outsourcing has become more transparent just now.Big conglomerates like Walmart and others would argue that we have been enjoying low prices on goods like electrical products and household equipment. All this is due to a cost-effective measure or solution in order to grant consumers cheaper prices for their goods and services.

There is nothing wrong with Free Market. Entrepreneurs should not be stifled out of making profits. That's the reason why they undergo the risks in business. However, there needs to be balance of trade. The right infrastructure and regulations should be in place so as to protect the domestic market. A country's citizens should not be deprived of employment because companies discover that they can reap gigantic profits in overseas markets. No CEO wants to be dictated on how much profit to be made in the business. At the same time,  when citizens depend on a particular industry like the manufacturing, steelmaking, toy, electrical and a host of other industries, been uprooted and taken overseas, that's wrong morally and economically.

With the advancement of the internet, many companies take advantage of this by outsourcing jobs like accounting, telephone sales, etc. to places like China and India. These residents are trained to mimic the accent of Americans. The unfortunate thing about this move is that those who have been in intact positions for years have seen their five and six figure jobs been taken and offered to those overseas for just a small percentage.  Many towns like Bombay and Bangalor in these territories have been transformed tremendously, but at what price? Former employees who have gone to higher learning to secure bachelors and graduate degrees are now losing their homes to foreclosures. Homelessness is drastically on the rise like never before in the middle-class group.

Because there is no proper infrastructure and regulations, some farming towns have seen the disappearance of crops that have been fixtures
