Poetry: Happiness

by Justice Gorak

Created on: July 07, 2010

Some people just float through life,
They're like that one unsharpened knife.
Just sitting there in the back of the drawer,
You shouldn't put up with it anymore!
Live life fully, embrace the moments.
Do something to make a difference.
Don't just be another passenger,
Look for ways, be a scavenger!
Whether it's being nice to a lonely boy,
Or giving a homeless child a new toy.
Make an impact on this place,
Start by putting a smile on your face.
Just try to make the smallest change,
No matter what your skills range.
So next time you wake up, say:
Today's gonna be a wonderful day!
