They think only of themselves,
Like empty vessels that make the most noise,
Wanting everyone to know how great they are,
Showing their so-called confidence only as decoys,
Truly a great person is too busy,
Doing things then to be singing their own praises,
Best judged by their deeds and accomplishments,
Rather than their boasts and badges,
By their fruit,
Shall you know them,
Works and aura's of humility,
Precious than a thousand gems,
There is a tendency to use spin and deceit,
To con people into valuing and voting for the witless,
Fooling all those around them,
As if a character who is played by an actress,
You can fool some people all of the time,
And all of people some of the time,
But you can't fool all of the people all the time,
Winston Churchill a man at his prime,
Egotistical they are,
Just to feel as centre of attention to validate themselves,
Truly I say on to you,
They are merely smokescreens of low self-esteemed elves,
An ego is lack of trust in your own soul,
Operating from fear,
My, my, my, have I seen many,
Those that have whispered in my ear,
An inflated feeling of pride,
Their superiority to others,
Their consciousness of their own identity,
But only a bunch of actors,
Running to popularity,
Only to be given materialistic values,
A social network of friendships,
That are clearly at abuse,
It don't mean a thing,
For the praised one will be humbled,
And the humble will be praised,
Full of themselves,
The ego they carry upon their armor,
A small heart beating loud and hard,
But I tell you,
A true heart is big and beats quieter
