Starting over...
What a concept. I am alone for the first time in twenty years. I wish that I could say it's easy. I wish that I could say I have the answers - I don't. It is something I struggle with every day. Every day I drive past someplace we ate, someplace we shopped, some place we enjoyed, shared, made ours.

Every day is a struggle so far and yes, I cry every day. I look back on a life time or so it seems. I reflect on what I did right, and what I did wrong. No doubt I shoulder some of the blame, and that is the baggage we hear so much about.

Can I tell you what to do? No. I get up every morning, get over waking up alone, and get on with my day. Someday it will be better. Someday it will make sense. Someday I will find happiness.

Until then I continue on for my children, for my love of life, and in the knowledge that I am worth something, I am capable of life after, and I will find my way again.
