GROWN UP GAMES
Such silly games these adults play
Watching the computer screen each day
What they call markets and exchanges,
Are nothing but just flickering numbers
I see neither food nor drinks on screen
No fruits, vegetables or snacks
What kind of markets are these
That the adults are raving about?
Some days I see them jumping for joy
For something they had bought or sold
At times their faces are black as thunder
They said the markets had came tumbling down
I rushed out to look at our corner market
Everything seems alright, no walls or pillars down
They are still selling my favorite food
Meat, fruits, vegetables and snacks!
The adults limit us in our pc and video games
Calling them nothing but a waste of time
Yet they are fixed to their screens all day
Lost in their mindless, boring games!
