Each day millions of people log onto the internet, to check out the social media websites. Here is a guide to a good social website. If you are new to the internet each social website has a simple to do list in order to become a member.

1. Your name

2.Address

3.Security question

4. E-mail address

5. A password

6. Your sex

7. Birthday

The only thing that you would see each time you logged in would be your e-mail address and password. Personal information can't be accessed by just anyone.

Facebook- Right now this is one of the hottest social good websites. Once you have logged on your profile page comes up. On this page you enter information about yourself like schools, relationships, any comments you might have about anything and etc. As you continue the search on facebook you can download photos and videos. There is a page where you can input information about your interests, job, music, television and movies. Each time you enter new data you can save it to your facebook page.

Once you finish entering all the information you feel that you would like people to know, its time to review all the information to make sure its all correct. On facebook anything that you don't like or feel that is unnecessary you can delete it off. Anytime you like to input data you can, no matter what time of day it is.

Finally, you finish inputting all of the information you don't mind sharing with the world. Now you can start getting 'fans', these are people that you know family and friends. Slowly more and more people will become a fan of your facebook page. With facebook you can get in contact with old high school friends or even a star who also has a facebook page. In the process of getting fans, you send a request to that person's page saying you would like to connect they either say yes or no. There are quite a few more additions to facebook, have fun as you being your journey.

Here is a little list of other good social websites. Myspace, twitter, youtube and blackplanet. Each of these social websites have the same features as facebook. Signing on should be an easy task. Just one more thing, youtube is a website where you download video of anything you would like to share with the world. Many videos get hundreds or thousands of hits. On this website you can become a youtube star. How exciting! Get that page going.
