Cheating takes place when a person is missing something in a relationship. Infidelity results from the lack of understanding, emotional intimacy or sex. Often, when they become the victims of infidelity, people look for reasons outside their relationship or marriage. Internet could be seen as one of these reasons.
Internet cannot be blamed for encouraging cheating. It is just one of the numerous options available out there. If internet is to blame, so is work at the office or making new friends at a party.
The vastness and diversity that it offers make internet something terrifying. How can a single person compete against all the temptations and options available online?
This reasoning is wrong. If a partner is prone to cheating, that person will make use of any option available. Internet just happens to be an option that is readily accessible. Nearly everyone has access, most people have registrations in social media or communities. The fact that it is readily available, however, does not turn internet into a major infidelity occurrence factor.
IT ALL DEPENDS ON USER BEHAVIOR
Internet can encourage or discourage cheating based on the manner it is used in.
The web world is immense. Anyone could find the specific thing being sought. If an individual is looking for an affair online, this quest will probably result in success sooner or later.
Blaming internet for infidelity taking place is naïve. The web is simply the medium. It provokes no types of behavior, rather, it follows the wishes and desires of specific users. People will visit dating websites if they have the need to do so.
SHOULD YOU FEAR THE INTERNET?
Infidelity occurs as a result of some intrinsic relationship problem. Internet and its luring options hold no danger, if you are in a healthy and fulfilling relationship.
People feel threatened whenever something goes wrong. If you fear internet as something that can tempt your partner into having an affair, you should start analyzing what is going on in your relationship.
Remember that happy and loved people will never look for affection and intimacy elsewhere. Transferring the blame to internet or any other medium signifies that you fear accepting reality and dealing with the current situation.
COMPETING AGAINST THE INTERNET?
Many people in a relationship fear internet, as irrational as this feeling is. They feel insecure and unable to compete against the diversity that the World Wide Web offers.
The truth is that internet gives each individual the chance
