Pastor Billy Joe Daugherty was a servant of Christ who lived his life with God, through His Spirit and for us. He promoted God’s Word and brought His people together into an unyielding congregation of followers who were inspired by the enthusiasm and encouraged by the hope of the high calling of God.

Reverend Daugherty was the founding pastor of Victory Christian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma which holds a membership of 17,000 people. It’s the largest church ever established in Tulsa. He also founded the Victory Christian School, Victory Bible Institute that has over 900 campuses spread throughout 93 countries, and Victory World Training Center which is responsible for sending out thousands of missionaries to countries around the world.

He established the Tulsa Dream Center which is a food and clothing distribution bank that has a dental and medical clinic, as well as a legal counseling office and a large recreation facility made available for the needy people of Tulsa. The Victory Church bus ministry brings over 1200 children and teens from the neighborhoods around this facility every Saturday to take part in the Kidz Ministry and S.O.U.L. Youth Ministry.

In 2005 he became the interim president of Oral Roberts University while Richard Roberts took a
