I woke up this morning, alive and free
by afternoon however I was depressed as can be
When bedtime came my whole world turned around
Once the next dawn came I greeted the world with a frown.
Its always something different
my mood alters with the winds
I'm not the same as everyone else
It seems I can never win
To be happy and sad in such a fast change
is like whiplash as the thoughts rearrange
No one can understand the cycle in my mind
the doctors have given me everything they can find
But nothing can fix this
and it will never change
except for the happy and sad feeling
That makes me something different and strange.

Gaunt against the hot oppressive air
