Choosing a computer can get extremely tedious especially if you are not a technical person. There are a number of computer options out there. Some of them are really costly whereas some of them are real cheap. It is truly confusing to decide which one you should buy. All those technical terms might not be exactly understandable by you and you might end up buying something that’s not worth your money.

Here is a compilation of some important tips that can help you buy the best computer out there depending upon your requirements:

Processor:

The first and the basic thing is to check out the processor and its speed. AMD, Intel, etc. are the types of processors you get amongst which Intel is the most widely used one. If you want a computer that is easy to maintain then go for Intel. On the other hand, check out the processor’s speed and model. These two factors are very important to consider because the speed would actually be the basic speed of your computer regardless of the RAM and the model will determine what type of RAM, Hard drives and other drives you can use it. A model that is old enough for newer stuff can be useless, so refrain from such things.

Power in:

Another major thing that most people ignore. Your power supplying unit present in the CPU should be a branded one. Believe it or not, they play an important in saving your computer from fluctuations in the voltage, etc. Without a good power supply unit your computer is prone to easily have a short circuit causing the mother board and the processor to be destroyed with fluctuations in voltage.

RAM:

There are two major things you need to check when it comes to the RAM. Firstly, you need to check out which RAM does the computer support. Today the most common RAM is DDR2 and DDR3 is the current one. Both of these are good enough to go with but don’t go for DDR1 as they are outdated and you find a replacement if it goes bad.

USB Ports and Hard drive:

Check out which hard drive is supported in the computer. You can always increase the hard drive if the computer supports a version that is currently in the market. Also, check how many USB ports the computer has. Do not settle for any computer with less than 2 USB ports.

Follow these instructions and you will definitely buy the best PC for yourself.
