Clean, clean, clean, my mother says!
No one wants a dirty friend.
Wash your hands before you eat.
Dirty fingers, are not a treat.
Scrub your teeth, front and back.
You don’t want a smile covered in plaque.
Clean, Clean, clean, my mother says!
No one wants a grimy room.
Pick up your clothes and put them away.
A mountain of laundry leaves no room to play.
Pick up your toys and put them in their place.
It’s not fun to trip and fall on your face.
Clean, clean, clean, my mother says!
And I do, each and every day.
My Mother Says!
A poem for children!

Scrubbed scoured polished shined
clean without dirty inside
Perfect to the naked eye
no one can tell it's all a lie
Cleverly
