There are many millions of us who have immense trouble in managing our money. Instead of being in control of our money, it is the other way round. Money seems to slip out of our fingers with the greatest of ease. How can we work it so that we can make money more manageable and, in the long run, make it work for us?
The first thing one must do, is sit down and work out all of your outgoings and in-comings. Are you spending more than you can afford? Are you spending more than you are bringing in? Do you really need that credit card? And did you really need to buy your goods using higher purchase? All of these things can add up to a pretty penny and can, in the long run, see your debts mount up by the week.
Gain back control of your financial life by becoming hard with yourself. Cut out all unnecessary purchases, and cut back, as much as you can, on higher purchase buys. Make your money work for you, and try to stretch it out as much as you can. Whatever things can be paid off in full, then pay them. Slash your bills by a half, and then when you have done that, slash them again, by a quarter.
Be ruthless when it comes to managing your money, because, as the old saying goes: money does not grow on trees. Money is very easily swallowed up under a mountain of debt that you may have accrued over the months. Managing your money is all about living within your means. This is where financial restraints kick in. If that big car you have is too expensive to run, trade it in, and get a smaller model.. A smaller car would make it financially viable, for yourself, and would make good economic sense too. Think of the money you would save, not just on road tax and insurance, but fuel too.
And if you find that your utilities companies [such as gas, water, electric] are charging too much, then go with another company who would provide all of those things at a far cheaper price. Again, it is all about managing your money in the best way that you can. Cell phones can be another item which can take up most of your money. If you find that your tariff is to high then go with another company who will guide you as to the best phone you can have...more calls and texts for less cost..
Credit cards are financial sieves that can see you leaking money left right and centre. Do you really need three or four credit cards on the go? Get rid of the credit cards, leaving yourself with only one, at
