Sexy Long Hair with Bangs

The long hair styles of the sixties and seventies are gone, but long hair can be sexy with modern  flair.  It comes from shaping the cut around the face and adding bangs

Length

Do you grow your hair out to its longest point? Most likely hip length hair would appear dated.  With the assistance of your hair dresser you can find the appropriate hair length. Longer than three inches from your shoulders could weigh down the hair makes the hair appear thin.  After selecting a length, the hair is cut straight across the back. Once you cut the length cut, you need to shape around the face

Bangs

Feathering

Next, the hairdresser designs the sides which blend with the bangs. This gives the impression of a pageboy with longhair, but can be aging to an older woman. The feathering from the bangs gives the advantage of a shorter haircut around the face, but length in the back.

The hairdresser checks balance by grabbing a piece of the hair from each side and brings it forward. The pieces of hair should meet at the center of the face.  A hairdresser may suggest layering, but avoid except to eliminate effect of thick hair. It is now time to polish the look.

Finishing

The finishing touch of the hair comes from straightening and polishing the hair and placing a slight curl under.
