The Previous Morning
She sees the foot steps that he left in the sand
He said he would love her forever; he turned out to be a no where man
The ocean breeze touches her face; her hair blowing in the wind
She thinks of where she is going and where he has been
She knew this life; it's just for right now
No where to go so she just sits lightly on a cloud
Watching her life pass her by; like a story in a book
All the times he had passed her never to give her a second look
It's o.k. for right now; she tends to like it that way. She can't change what has transpired
She smiles to herself; as he tends to walk into yet another fire
He doesn't realize what he had until he opens his eyes to his dismay
She had left the previous morning; before he decided to stray
It was inevitable; she saw it coming before it ever began
She knew what he was like. She just thought that he would be a man
He always looked the other way! For the life of her, she didn't know why
It killed her to know he thought the grass was always greener on the other side
As he sits on his bed he held his head in his hands! He can't believe she is gone
Tears start to fill his eyes; his heart starts to break. Now he can see where he went wrong
She slowly starts to walk away towards the most beautiful sunset
She can walk away without any regrets even with such a life like this

Poetry: This life
Why does it have to hurt so much?
It tries to take away your every crutch.
Even when you know you're right,
You still seem

And all succumbs to winter's call
This life we live it changes too
From season to
“The most important things in life”
To love and share, to honor and care
To seek and find, to put
Another day has come my way as I crawl out of bed.
To face the world, society and work for little bread.
All these days
I am never quite sure where this life is leading me,
whether I am in control.
Maybe there is such a thing as fate,
or maybe
