Making money on YouTube just got easier, especially if you are talented. All it takes is an original idea and a camera and you too could be pulling in six figures via the YouTube partnership program. Placing a video on YouTube is a good way to market your product or service, since it works well with other social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter.  Anyone who want to make money on the website has to first set up a free account with YouTube.

YouTube has an option that allows authors to promote their videos and pay only for real results. A video showcasing unique talent or breaking news can become a hit and some people make even more money when they include affiliate links in the description of their video. The more popular the videos, the better the chance YouTube will contact the person about promotions and compensation. If you intend to make a large amount of money, followers are needed to view and vote on your videos. Here are several ways to make money on YouTube the easy way.

* Consider a weekly or daily series, if people enjoy it you will have even more opportunities for earning money by gaining followers quickly.

* Focus on one great idea at a time. If comedy is your strength, maybe produce comedic videos that follow the same character or group of characters in every video.

* Do not make the videos too long. Unless you are producing documentaries, keep the length short.

* Produce videos on subjects people enjoy the most. Also focus on videos that are popular, such as how-to videos.

* Never leave home without a video camera. Great video can happen at any time.

Get visitors by promoting yourself and the videos. Here are a few easy ways to broadcast your YouTube channel to make yourself and your videos more popular:

* Get T-shirts made with your name and YouTube address written on them. Give them to family and friends to wear.

* Build an attractive MySpace page about all of your videos with a link to each of them. Invite visitors, family and friends to watch and rate them.

* Use your Twitter account to promote yourself and invite viewers.

* Post a descriptive link to your videos on your blog and Facebook page.

* Watch some of the other YouTube entrepreneurs who are making money on YouTube and follow their lead.

* Make copies of your videos and send a copy of the really good ones to the local TV station.

After you get video uploaded and a growing audience, sign up with the YouTube partnership program. This is when the you will start to see some real revenue. Don't apply until you have some good content and a growing number of subscribers.
