We Do Not Walk Alone
She walked by herself today, not wanting to be near anyone
She looked at all the beauty around as she shielded her eyes from the sun
Her heart is full of so much love to give, yet, she realizes she has given all that she can
So why can't He take her heart, hold it close, with the touch of His hand
She ran through the tall green grass, spinning and turning around all the while
Feeling the cool breeze blow against her hair, the daffodils made her smile
She danced towards the sun as it set past the meadow
Dancing beside her now was a very tall young fellow
He took her hand and said let's go, so they ran over towards the light
She was reluctant yet spell bound by the beauty before her eyes
He knew she had taken this journey all alone, searching for her destiny
She knew to trust in her own fate, yet stumbled to reach for her own dreams
She bowed her head, turned to where the water falls kiss the morning dew
She loved the serenity, the feeling of thee enlightenment of ones heart so true
She always tried to believe in herself, to never let herself down
That life is just a puzzle and sometimes we have to walk through our own battle grounds
What a lovely day this turned out to be, full of light, love and inner peace
Loneliness turned into comfort, her tears no longer stained her cheeks
They danced their way to the distant light that shone in the brightest skies
For she was never ever alone;she walked with God, to His promised paradise
