Understanding your Helium Earning and Payment page can help you make the most of and maximize your earnings at Helium. The information provided to you can help you determine what channels are worth writing to and how much you have made or can make from various Helium bonuses.

Total Earnings-Your total earnings will be near the top of your page. This number will include earnings from ad revenue, as well as bonus payments and payments from Helium writing contests and Marketplace.

Total Invite Earnings-This is how much you have made from your share of earnings from the writers you have invited to Helium.

Adjustments-Your adjustments are bonus payments. They include rating bonuses, empty title bonuses, upfront payments, Helium writing contest payments, and Marketplace payments. These payments are usually added to your account on the first day of each month. You can click on the word "adjustments" to see how much money you made from each type of bonus.

Total Paid to You-This is the amount that you have requested and has already been paid to you. If you have already requested payment at least once this amount should be smaller than the amount shown next to "Total Earnings".

Payment Requested-This is how much money you have requested, but have not been paid yet.

Account Balance-This is the amount that you have earned that has not been paid to you yet. If the amount is shown in green you are able to request payment. It will only be green if this number is more than twenty five dollars. Payments are made on the tenth of each month. If you want to receive payment on the tenth you must request payment by the fourth.

Total Charity Donations-This is the amount of money you have earned for charity. It is displayed in the upper right.You can donate an articles ad revenue earnings to charity by selecting a charity to donate to before you publish the article. You can also donate the earnings of articles you have already published by going to your "My Articles" page.

Below Account Balance you will see "Active Article Earnings". This shows how much you have earned on each article and is key to determining which Helium channels are most worth your time. Articles will automatically be displayed in the order of highest to lowest earnings for the current month. Clicking on "Earnings This Year" or "Earnings Since Articles Submission" will change the order to highest to lowest according to lifetime and yearly earnings.
