The Lost Love
I lean against rain streaked windows,
looking through
tear stained eyes
you told me you loved me
now you are gone
Did she have more to offer?
I gave you my love

only to be thrown away
like a duckling sheds it shell
never to return
One day, your rain streaked windows
will appear
than you too will understand
the pain it takes to see
the world through tear stained eyes
