Creating videos is not be easy for everyone. Some people are just performers and don’t really know how to spice up their videos so that they don’t suck. 1. Make it short: The first thing to keep in mind is to ensure that the video is in compressed form so that it plays better on YouTube. The viewer should not be made to wait endlessly for the video to open and play. You not only lose a potential subscriber and a viewer, you also lose credibility and may end up getting a negative comment from the viewer.

2. Avoid camera movement: The next thing to ensure is to have a video with very little movement. A video with movement or jerks because of a moving camera can be quite troublesome to the eye. Constant zooming in and out should also be avoided as much as possible. You should also avoid using a hand held camera because it is very difficult to minimize the movements of the camera unless you are an expert.

3. Color up the background: Another thing which should help you to make a good video is to have a simple preferably a single colored background. When you choose a simple background the message of your video becomes clearer and viewers appreciate it. But if the video demands a particular background which is likely to look cluttered or busy to improve the effectiveness of the shots you can decrease the depth to make the background look blurred. 4. Light up the background: One more thing which has proved to be good for a lot of YouTubers is a flash of light on a single colored background. When you light up the background the video looks better and looks cleaner. This is very good when the video contains a performance such as a person singing or dancing. These tips might sound obvious but for some reason almost only less then the top 10% of youtube users actually take time to employ them. So i guess the best tip I can give you is to simply develop the habit of doing things the right way.
