DO NOT SPEAK TO ME

Do not speak to me of Love

While you treat your marriage vows with contempt.

Do not speak to me of Truth

While you make a practice of deceit. 

Do not speak to me of Humility

While you strut about armored in your pride.

Do not speak to me of Hunger

While your bloated belly bears witness of your gluttony.

Do not speak to me of Brotherhood

While you plot and scheme against your fellowman.

Do not speak to me of Kindness

While you delight in the misfortune of you neighbors.

Do not speak to me of Charity

While your wealth is squandered on your vanity.

Do not speak to me of Worshipping God

While you bow before the idols of this world.

Do not speak to me of Justice

While you bear false witness against your neighbor.

Do not speak to me of Forgiveness

While your heart has set it's course upon revenge.

Do not speak to me of Freedom

While you coerce others and bend them to your will.

Do not speak to me of Peace

While you hold a weapon in your hand and hatred in your heart.
