Is this some sort of criteria for ladies to pick their potential partners for life? Or some sort of prerequisites for guys to guarantee a better life altogether? Either way, they do not matter because there are certainly more to it than meets the eye. Speaking of the 5 C's of success, there are many versions out there that differs a lot from different parts of this world. The traditional saying mentions that they have to be in form of cash, company, car, career and credit card. Nonetheless, ever since the adversities caused by the global economic meltdown affects millions of people around the world, the notion of 5 C's should be reconsidered to be in form of good common sense, caution, compassion, capability and cool. After all, this is a difficult era to live by as the efforts required to survive had surged infinitely sky high. 

Common Sense

Either sex should practise good common sense to ensure livinghood based on responsibility driven actions instead of freakish command and control. As much as daily life is being inflicted with multiple stress factors, people are losing common sense and a good dose of reasonable intellect. Decisions are made based on what is seemingly an ideal directive instead of say in-depth interpretive literature review. If everything is held stretched on a pre-tightened schedule, what happens is that there are no rooms for timely considerations let alone common sense. 

Caution

It is better to live abiding by the laws of having more caution positively infused with thinking. Old folks should be cautious of slippery roads, youngsters should be cautious of premature relationships or generally people should be cautious of over-spending or major risks of unhealthy living. Everyone shares the same amount of risks and responsibilities by understanding the negative effects of certain actions and decisions undertaken. By such, communication would have already been most effective along its course at whenever it should have been imparted.

Compassion

Compassion is required and it can process manifestation of turning over a new leaf. For example, forgive a wrong doer today on guided approach, he/she may turn to become a better person tomorrow. On the contrary, a very good person yesterday may become evil today for a number of non-immediately identifiable reasons. The reasons may include pro-longed abuse, unfair events or sudden shifts happening under very complex socio-economic working grounds. To derive true success, it should not happen on the basis under a one-way personal street, but amongst a highly shared traffic zone which is accident-free.

Capability

Capability is the ability to make things happen or the ability to create based on previous learning. Capability is quite different from education or competence, because the latter bears experience and proof on paper. Capability does not call for any such things because it is based on free will to act. A person who is capable is a person who knows what he/she needs to do in order to contribute an either partial or full platform of success. A capable person is more pro-active because he/she does not take time to justify work but would start immediately on necessary steps required to drive through aiming at success. 

Cool

Being cool or able to take up challenges and face the heat in the face. It does not imply an uncaring personality but a better way at handling crisis or yet a better self control. A person that manages to keep the cool has undoubtedly avoided uncontrollable rage or anger that promotes higher risks leading towards worse upheaval or disasters. This is a person who does not lose his/her mind easily and in order to succeed at times of turmoil, such quality becomes an invaluable asset.
