With last week saying goodbye to Brett, the contestants are down to five. That means one thing, only one team this week. Last week Steve and Tango chose Eric to be the team leader for this week. His leadership abilities were proven as he took the lead with set up when the other team leaders failed to take the lead. Everyone was slightly out of their element last week at the Mark Twain home on account that they couldn't touch anything. Vera had many events last week when she was, as she believed, touched by something twice.
This week, the Ghost Hunters Academy is visiting Fort Delaware on Pea Patch Island, Delaware. The fort was built to keep people out but was changed to a Civil War prison. There were about 2,700 deaths of about 33,000 prisoners. People who tried to escape were occasionally shot.
Eric was off to a bad start by interrupting the guide. There had been multiple incidents in the fort including a sighting of a woman, noises, and things flying around a room and smashing against a wall. There have also been sightings of a soldier walking down one of the tunnels. When Ghost Hunters visited there in 2008, they had many personal experiences including voices and noises.
The team starts setting up and Vera stood out by taking the lead with the camera set up. Rosalyn is still lacking in her technical skills. The lights go out and Michelle, Vera and Eric enter the powder rooms. These rooms were used for solitary confinement during the Civil War. While in there, Vera starts hearing steps. They set out to find the source of the sounds but find nothing. It then shifts to Rosalyn and Adam who are in the officer's bedroom. Adam starts asking questions about the war hoping to bring out something. They also hear noises and try to find the source. They found the source - it was the window frame rattling so this 'paranormal experience' was debunked.
Later Eric, Vera, and Michelle head to the officer's kitchen when Vera suggests they sing to make everything feel more at ease. Vera is shining above the rest with her leadership and unique ideas. Michelle turns the thermal to the stove and it is hot. They soon debunk it when they realize it is a reflection of their own body heat.
Adam and Rosalyn head to the mess hall. Rosalyn continues to talk, making it hard for Adam to hear anything. Adam, once again, hears a noise. Adam earns brownie points by bringing up Lee, the worker that died there recently. He asks for Lee to talk to him. Rosalyn felt as if someone had approached her from behind. Both of them heard sort of an exhale after Adam asked a few more questions. Eric then switches to investigate with Adam and Rosalyn and they return to the powder rooms. Eric begins questioning Adam and Rosalyn as if he was the evaluator, making them uncomfortable. They are then told to wrap up.
During the analysis, Michelle finds audio that sounds like a voice. Rosalyn also believed she found something, but first she couldn't find the correct tape, then Steve told her what she found wasn't paranormal. Everyone heads to the judges to report to Jason.
Michelle's previous finding is shown to Jason and he accepts it. Once again, Rosalyn missed something on a tape like last week. Both Adam and Vera both showed a large improvement. Vera was chosen as the group leader for next week. The elimination seemed to be between Rosalyn and Michelle. In the end, it was Rosalyn who was sent home.
